Data Deletion
How to remove your information from SignalDesk
Disconnect a social account
In SignalDesk, open Clients & Accounts, choose the client, and select Disconnect next to the account. The access token and account details are deleted immediately, and SignalDesk can no longer post to or read from that account.
Remove SignalDesk from Facebook or Instagram
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (on some accounts this is called Apps and websites).
- Find SignalDesk, select Remove, and choose to delete the data it has.
Facebook tells us automatically, and we delete the Facebook and Instagram connections and access tokens linked to your account. Facebook gives you a confirmation code you can use to check the status of your request on this page.
Remove SignalDesk from other networks
- LinkedIn: go to Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services and remove SignalDesk.
- Pinterest: go to your Settings, open the list of connected apps, and revoke SignalDesk’s access.
- Threads: in the Threads app, go to Settings → Account → Website permissions and remove SignalDesk.
- X: go to Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps and revoke SignalDesk.
- YouTube (Google): open myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove SignalDesk.
- TikTok: go to Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions and remove SignalDesk.
SignalDesk can’t use the access immediately after you revoke it. To also delete the stored connection details, disconnect the account in SignalDesk or email us.
Delete your account
Sign in, open Settings → Your account, and choose Delete account. It happens right away. If you’re the only member of your workspace, the whole workspace goes with it: clients, brand kits, scheduled posts, connected accounts and their access tokens, notes, links, and uploaded files. If others share the workspace, only your sign-in, drafts, and uploads are removed. If you’d like a copy first, use Settings → Export.
Can’t sign in? Email phil.kukawinski@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my data,” and we’ll do it within 30 days.
Posts already published on a social network stay there until you delete them on that network.
